Castaway Kids

Tyler Shealey and the crew at Castaway Customs are always looking for ways to help out, not just with the community, but with people and children all over the place. From fundraising efforts after Hurricane Harvey, Irma and Dorian down to sponsoring small fishing tournaments and local events around the Southeast United States the crew at Castaway Customs is always looking to give back and help out in any way they can.

This year for Christmas 2019, the crew ran the “Castaway Kids” campaign to give out 50 gift boxes for 25 boys and girls who could use a little extra this holiday season. The campaign gained a lot of traction quickly and a lot of nominations poured in. None of this was possible and couldn’t have been a success without the support of a few sponsors, MANG, Yeti, Sun Bum and Polarized Mini Shades, as well as the word getting out on social media and people taking action and nominating a child.

Several key pieces of design played a role in successfully delivering that campaign, from box design, to shooting, and producing a video that got the message across, and down to delivering the message on social media. The crew at Castaway Customs is deeply involved in many communities and is always looking to give back. Check out the video.
